The way energy is produced, supplied and used is changing at a faster rate than ever and I want our customers to not only keep up to speed with market development but also seize the opportunities presented by it. Although commodity remains central in our approach to risk management, the impact and management of non-commodity costs plays an increasingly important role in my advice and delivery to customers.

I have spent over a decade designing and implementing buying strategies for some of the largest UK and European commercial customers, I expect that role will get much more exciting given the pressing need to negotiate more complex contract and tariff structures in order to mitigate the impact of non-commodity costs.

As the complexity of this market grows, so too will the needs of our customers, so It’s absolutely the right time to be part of a new and innovative business in which connecting supply with demand side management is considered the top priority.
